The Glacier BrewHouse, established in 1996 by Chris Anderson and Bob Acree, is an upscale brewpub located in the heart of downtown Anchorage, Alaska.
The brewery is a 15bbl single infusion mash system and constantly ranks in the top ten (out of about 1,200) in the United States for brewpub beer production.
The brewery specializes in English and American West Coast style beers along with an elaborate oak aging program. In 2012, the brewery produced 4500 barrels of draft-only – with half being served on-premise and half sold to the Odom Corporation for distribution throughout Alaska and Washington.
